Tongyong pinyin is een systeem van transliteratie voor het Chinees. Het is sinds 2002 de standaard van de Republiek China om Chinees te romaniseren, doch het gebruik is niet verplicht en in Taiwan gebruikt men dit systeem naast het hanyu pinyin.
